Will my race bib be personalised?

If you register before 11:59pm on October 16 and have purchased bib postage, your race bib will be personalised with your first name. Please note that if you have selected bib pick up your race bib will not be personalised.

Where do I collect my race bib and t-shirt?

Race Bib and T-shirt Collection will be done at Carman’s Kitchen and Catani Gardens with use of an “e-ticket” which will be sent to all participants by 5:00pm on Monday 30 November.

Where can I purchase my photos?

Our official photographer is FinisherPix. You can pre-purchase photo packages during the registration process if you can log back into your RegisterNow profile.

When will my race bib be posted?

Race bibs will be sent to participants who select and pay for this option before 11:59pm on November 10. Race bibs will be mailed out the week of Monday 23 November. Please nominate a business or residential address. We cannot post to PO Boxes or Locked Bag addresses. Please note that your event t-shirt will not be posted to you. This will need to be collected during T-shirt Collection times. Please refer to our Event Schedule for times, location and dates.

What do I do if i have a timing query?

What are the road closures and where can I park?

Road closures will be in place on Beaconsfield Pde, Jacka Bvd, Marine Pde and Point Ormond Rd between Kerferd Rd and Glen Huntly Rd, between 6.30am and 11.30am. Please refer to our Changed Traffic Conditions flyer here.

Parking is limited in the car park at the St Kilda Sea Baths and on nearby streets. Please note that council parking fees and other restrictions apply. Vehicles parked on the course must not leave until the roads are reopened (approx. 11:30am).

What are the age restrictions for this event?

Half Marathon – You need to be at least 16 years old as of race day.

10km – No age restriction however Age Group Awards will begin at 13 years old.

5km – No age restriction however Age Group Awards will begin at 7 years old.

Girls mini fun run – You need to be between the ages of 4 – 7 years old.


Prizes will be awarded to those categories 16 years and above

Cut Off times

Half Marathon: 3 hours 40 minutes

10KM: 3 hours 10 minutes

5KM: 1 hour 40 minutes

Any participants still on course at 11:10am will be diverted onto the footpath to proceed to the finish to allow for reopening of road closure

COVID-19 Policies
  1. What if Carman’s Women’s Fun Run does not take place on Sunday, 6 December 2020, for reasons relating to the Covid-19 Pandemic?
    Where possible, the event will be rescheduled, and if this happens all registered athletes will have their race registration moved to the new event date. We will provide as much notice as we can, and if this doesn’t work for you we will provide other options such as an Event Credit, which can be used on any of the IRONMAN Group’s portfolio of events in Australia.
  2. What if I am unable to get to the 2020 event (or, if rescheduled, the 2021 event) due to border restrictions?
    If this still remains the case less than 30 days out from the event, affected Athletes will be offered an Event Credit to the value of your entry (including additional purchases).
Can males enter into this event?

Carman’s Women’s Fun Run is a women’s only running event – one of the biggest in Australia. The event celebrates female health and wellness. Whilst USM Events team acknowledge that any person, male or female, can be affected by breast cancer and understand the impact this can have on individuals, friends and families, the Carman’s Women’s Fun Run is a special day out for the girls only.

Can I receive a refund on my entry?

When entering Carman’s Women’s Fun Run the terms and conditions must be accepted by each individual entrant. In addition, the following refund policy for athlete medical withdrawals for 2020 is listed below. No refunds will be given for change of mind.

Refunds for athlete withdrawals will only be issued for the Event entry fee where participation in the Event is not appropriate due to medical reasons that is supported by a current medical certificate outlining the condition and lodged with the organisers before 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday, November 6, 2020. A 50% administration fee will be deducted from the race entry fee paid. Refunds will not be made for any additional items purchased, such as charitable donations.

Can I pick up multiple event kits?

You are able to collect multiple kits during collection times for your friends/family. To save time, please have a copy of each e-ticket (e-tickets will be emailed to all participants by 5:00pm on Monday 30 November).

Can I enter the event on race day?

There are no entries on the day for this event. All entries must be done online prior to the event by Saturday 5 December 5pm. No entries will be permitted on event morning under any circumstances.

Can I drop a bag at the start line?

We suggest allocating a friend to look after your belongings, alternatively tear off the tag on your race bib and hand this to the friendly staff at the bag drop entrance at Catani Gardens. Please do not keep any valuables within your bags as USM Events assume no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Can I change my T-shirt size?

Can I change my event distance?

Change of event distance is subject to approval. Note: you will not be able to edit the name /gender on your entry as there are no transfers on entries.

Change of Event Distance must be made prior to November 10 11:59pm.  After this date please email or call on 1300 761 384. You can also visit the Help Desk at Race Check-In. All changes will need to be made prior to Saturday 5 December 5pm. Please refer to our event schedule for dates and times.

Changes before this date can be made by editing your entry through your participant summary found in through the access registration link HERE

Are prams and strollers permitted on the course?

Wheelchair/prams/strollers/pushers are permitted to take part. This category will self seed themselves at the back of the race pack. There are no prizes for this category.
